The Impact
Where the Money Goes
The Pancake Breakfast is more than a great morning of pancakes, it helps fund the work of the Kiwanis Club of Raleigh throughout the year — supporting children, strengthening our community and providing opportunities for local organizations to make a difference.
Key Club Scholarships — We provide scholarships to graduating seniors from our eight sponsored Key Clubs, helping young leaders pursue higher education.
Key Leader — We provide financial support to send Key Club members to Key Leader, a leadership development experience designed to help high school students become confident, service-minded leaders.
Dictionary Project — We provide dictionaries to third-grade students at Leesville Elementary, giving students a resource they can use throughout their elementary school years.
Read & Feed — We provide books for children through Read & Feed, including books signed by our weekly Kiwanis guest speakers.
Boys & Girls Club — We support the Boys & Girls Club of Wake County, including our annual Christmas party and other opportunities to provide children with memorable experiences.
Holiday Service — We participate in holiday clothing sorting with A Note in the Pocket, helping prepare donated clothing for children in need.
Winter Supply Bags — We help assemble and provide winter supply bags for people experiencing homelessness, offering practical necessities during the coldest months of the year.
Parks & Trails — We sponsor Kiwanis Park and a section of the Raleigh Greenway, with members regularly volunteering to care for these community spaces.
Aktion Club — We support Aktion Club and its members as they develop leadership skills and carry out their own service projects in the community.
NC State Circle K — We provide financial support for members of the NC State Circle K club to attend district conventions and participate in leadership and service opportunities.
Supporting Kiwanis Beyond Raleigh — We contribute to the Carolinas District Kiwanis Foundation and the Kiwanis Children's Fund, helping support Kiwanis service and programs beyond our local club.
Your support funds a year of service — Pancake Breakfast proceeds help fund Raleigh Kiwanis' annual service budget and the many projects we undertake throughout the year. Any funds remaining in the service budget at the end of the fiscal year are donated to the Raleigh Kiwanis Foundation.
