Join the Kiwanis Club of Raleigh on Friday, April 24 for a special lunch featuring Pam Cashwell, Secretary of the North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources.
As Secretary, Cashwell leads a statewide department that manages and promotes North Carolina’s arts, culture, history, and natural spaces, including state parks, museums, historic sites, aquariums, and trails. The department oversees more than 100 locations and nearly 2,400 employees, playing a vital role in education, tourism, conservation, and community development across the state.
A longtime public servant, Cashwell previously served as Secretary of the North Carolina Department of Administration and has held leadership roles in public safety, ethics, and federal law. She brings a unique perspective on how government, culture, and natural resources intersect to improve quality of life for all North Carolinians.
Join us for an engaging discussion on the role of natural and cultural resources in shaping our state’s future, and connect with fellow members and guests at this weekly Kiwanis lunch.
