Join the Kiwanis Club of Raleigh on Friday, May 1 for a special lunch featuring Daniel Johnson, Secretary of the North Carolina Department of Transportation.
Appointed by the governor, Johnson leads one of the largest state agencies, overseeing North Carolina’s highways, bridges, public transit, rail, aviation, and infrastructure systems. His role is critical in supporting economic growth, safety, and connectivity across the state.
Johnson brings a strong background in public service, having previously served as Deputy Secretary and General Counsel at NCDOT, as well as an assistant district attorney in Wake County and a surface warfare officer in the U.S. Navy.
He will share insights into the future of transportation in North Carolina, including infrastructure priorities, growth challenges, and how NCDOT is working to meet the needs of a rapidly expanding state.
Join us for an engaging discussion and connect with fellow members and guests at this weekly Kiwanis lunch.
