Adam Owens is the Director of Corporate Communications for the North Carolina Education Lottery. He has more than two decades of experience in media, working in newsrooms across the southeast. Owens spent 15 years at WRAL-TV in Raleigh, NC where he was a reporter and anchor. He has won two regional Emmy awards, including one for breaking news reporting during 2018’s Hurricane Florence. Owens is also the recipient of an Edward R. Murrow award.
